Can you show me what my new smile will look like ahead of time?
Yes, we can do it with our computerized smile enhancement programs. We will take a picture of you as you look today. Then, we will digitally alter it to show you just how great your smile would appear with the cosmetic and restorative work that we are recommending. We predict that after just one look you will be ready to begin work on your new smile right away!

Do you accept my dental insurance?
We will accept most types of dental insurance. Please remember that dental insurance is not designed to pay for all of your care and that you will be responsible for any balance that remains. What your plan covers is determined by the insurance company and how much your employer paid for the plan. Sometimes, insurance companies tell their clients that certain dental fees are “above the usual and customary” rather than tell them the insurance benefits are too low. The best way to know what fees are covered is to send in a pre-treatment estimate, which we will be glad to do for you.

I want my front teeth to look better but don’t want conventional braces – can you help me?
There are a variety of ways to improve your teeth without conventional braces. For slightly crooked or unevenly worn teeth, porcelain veneers may be sufficient to give them a bright, symmetrical appearance. In other cases, it may be necessary to fit you with the latest “invisible” braces called Invisalign. It uses a set of removable and comfortable clear trays to align your teeth.

What is TMJ?
The jaw joint is located just in front of each ear. It is a complex joint and has many muscles controlling it. Many people experience mild to severe pain in and around the joint for a number of reasons. People with TMJ problems may experience headaches, and muscle spasms in the neck, back or shoulders. A bad bite or persistent grinding or clenching of teeth can cause TMJ. Basically grinding, clenching and a bad bite cause the muscles that control the jaw to be overworked. They get fatigued and go into spasm and the pain begins. An appliance can be made that will allow the muscles to rest and reduce the symptoms. Various medications, massage of the muscles, moist heat and even physical therapy can also help.

What are porcelain veneers?
Of all the methods available today for changing and improving the look of your smile in just a few simple appointments, veneers are among the most popular with our patients. Whether to close spaces, increase size, change color or straighten teeth, veneers are one of the most exciting procedures we provide. They are shaded to match your smile and shaped and sized to compliment your features and are translucent for a natural look. They are highly resistant to stains and closely resemble healthy tooth enamel.
